THE STATION JACKET
Seven years ago we stumbled upon a rare vintage jacket that caught our eye, and we have been fascinated with it ever since. We began collecting as many as we could for our archive, and there was no question that someday we wanted to make a special version of this beloved piece for BRUT.
This jacket is an American workwear jacket dating back to the 1950’s and 60’s, virtually impossible to find now because of one very special feature…its fabric !
For the cut, we kept all the important details we love about the original, while making a few adjustments to align with our classic BRUT silhouette, boxy and comfy.
Now available in two colors online and in our shop and as always, hand cut and sewn one-by-one in our Paris atelier.

Made from a special kind of cotton whip cord, the material is comparable to a ribbed jersey, but with an unbeatable texture. The original lining was made by the iconic manufacturer TROY, commonly seen on jackets of this era. After several months of research, we finally found a fabric from a Japanese maker that held the closest ressemblance to both the shell and the lining.
