THE REWORK® PROJECT

LAUNCHED IN 2021, OUR REWORK® PROGRAM BEGAN WITH A SIMPLE BUT IMPACTFUL IDEA: REPURPOSING LEFTOVER VINTAGE MATERIALS AND GIVING THEM A NEW LIFE. THIS INITIATIVE BROUGHT THE INNOVATIVE CONCEPT OF UP-CYCLING TO THE FOREFRONT OF THE FASHION INDUSTRY, BLENDING FUNCTIONALITY WITH AESTHETICS TO CREATE TIMELESS GARMENTS THAT STAND THE TEST OF TIME.

THE BEGINNING

Our journey began in May 2021 with the launch of our first drop, which introduced the concept of reimagining the Barbour heritage, fusing it with modern design and a commitment to a greener future. We started by collecting hundreds of original Barbour jackets in different sizes, colors, and conditions. Each jacket had to be carefully unpicked to create a clean foundation, and every element was reworked to ensure the final design was both fresh and harmonio us in its combination of colors and materials. Each patch on this jacket tells its own story, showcasing the character and history of the vintage Barbour pieces it's composed of.

After 4 yeras, five versions and six drops —selling out every time in just a few days — our Barbour Rework Cropped Jacket has become a true icon and a signature piece of the brand.

SKILLED HANDS

Every REWORK® piece is crafted locally in our workshop, where we partner exclusively with the best artisans in Paris. Mounir, our workshop manager, is a true expert in garment making. His skill and exceptional technical expertise allow us to work on complex, intricate pieces that require the utmost precision and care. Every stitch, cut, and seam is executed with patience and dedication, ensuring that each piece is both unique and crafted to the highest standards of quality and durability

MANY PROJECTS, ONE AMBITION

Since that first release, we’ve continued to expand our collection, transforming Ralph Lauren corduroy pants into 70s-inspired jackets, repurposing army blankets into fishing jackets, and turning vintage sleeping bags into cozy parkas. With each limited edition drop, we are committed to mindful production, sustainability, and a circular approach to fashion.
