REWORK® BY BRUT

Launched in 2021, the BRUT x Barbour Rework® project reinterprets Barbour's heritage through reconstruction.

Each Jacket is made from vintage Barbour garments sourced by BRUT and rebuilt into new forms : cut, reassembled and finished in our Paris workshop. Every jacket is one of a kind and each patch tells its own story, showcasing the character and heritage of Barbour as well as those who love and wear them. 

Over time, the project has evolved through multiple versions, V1 to V5, refining consruction, silhouette and material selection with every release.

The third version marked a turning point for the Rework® Barbour series.

Built entirely from vintage Barbour jackets, the V3 pushed the idea of patchwork further, combining heritage fabrics with a refined, technical construction. Every jacket reimagines the Barbour DNA through BRUT's lens: cropped fit, reassembled panels and the visible character of wear.

For the first time, materials were supplied directly from Barbour's own warehouse.

Using original waxed cotton, brass zippers, corduroy collars and tartan liners, the V3 maintained the authenticity of Barbour while introducing new proportions and details. Each patch tells its own story, a dialogue between British tradition and BRUT's ongoing work of reconstruction.
