For BRUT spring summer 2023, we released our first collaboration with San Antonio Shoemakers, an American footwear company never before seen in Europe.

SAS shoes are proudly made in the USA and handcrafted using the highest quality materials. They hold strength in their humble origins as a family-owned company dedicated to authentic shoemaking. While many modern sneaker brands are often focused on ostentatious trademarks and branding, SAS remains dedicated to designs that are driven by functionality among all else, resulting in understated sneakers that are defined by the individuality of those who wear them.

In addition to their commercial line, SAS is one of the main footwear manufacturers for the U.S. military.

The BRUT x SAS shoe is a tribute to all the classics we know and love, while also being a fresh take on the iconic American sneaker, staying true to our vision of modernity and innovation. The collaboration sneaker was developed and crafted by the SAS Shoemakers to follow the natural shape of your foot. It uses SAS’s advanced comfort technologies Tripad® cushioning and the EZ Lace® system, which allows for a customized fit. Their shoes are also designed to provide ample space in the toe box, extra support in the arch, and shock-absorbing soles to reduce foot fatigue and pain.

In honor of SAS’s introduction to the European market, the collaboration also included

legacy merchandise, a head-to-toe training suit with a cap, t-shirt, shorts, and sweatshirt,

all Made in USA. For this collection, BRUT sought inspiration from SAS’s archive, bringing

back to life some of their most iconic logo designs from the 80’s.
