To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Fatboy's Original beanbag, BRUT collaborated with the Dutch brand on a unique upcycling project.

The idea was simple: take something iconic and give it a new function, through material, cut and construction.

Fatboy opened the doors of its warehouse to BRUT, giving access to a selection of pre-used beanbags. From there, our team reworked the original fabric into new one-of-a-kind pieces. Each panel was cut, reassembled and stitched by hand in our Parisian atelier. The result: a set of chore jackets that carry the traces of their past use, now transformed into functional and timeless designs.

The BRUT x Fatboy Chore Jacket is built from the same robust cotton that made Fatboy's reputation. Its construction follows BRUT's signature approach: Cropped fit, visible patchwork and clean finish. The collection also includes an upcycled hat inspired by the 1930s US Navy "Daisy Mae", made from the same resistant made.
