LEVI'S ORIGINAL REDLINE - US24 / 003
ERA : 1970'S
The Levi’s “Redline” series refers to jeans which feature the red line threading running down the selvedge on the inside pant leg. Starting in the early twentieth centure, Levi’s denim manufacturer Cone Mills incorporated the colored lines to help differentiate between different grades of fabric.
Redline Levi's is manufactured between 1972 and 1986 in USA and it was considered the top grade and collectors argue that jeans made of this type of denim are heavier and superior to modern jeans.
